BASF launches California research hub

BASF announced today that it has inaugurated the California Research Alliance (CARA)—a multidisciplinary research institute with emphasis on new inorganic materials and their applications, biosciences and related technologies. CARA is comprised of BASF experts as well as researchers at the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley), Stanford University and the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
