BASF and Vorbeck Enter Joint Research Pact for Dispersions

BASF says it has established a joint research program with Vorbek Materials (Jessup, MD) for the development of graphene dispersions for electrically conductive coating and compounds, especially for the electronics industry. Graphene is the strongest, most conductive known material, but the manufacture of single-sheet graphene on a ton scale had not previously been commercially feasible, the companies say.
