EnviroTech :: R&D BASF and Evonik Join RFID Alliance11:23 AM MDT | March 17, 2008 | Nancy Seewald BASF and Evonik Industries say they have joined a consortium sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research to advance the development of high-performance printable radio frequency identification (RFID) tags. The leader of the consortium, dubbed Madrix, is PolyIC (Furth, Germany), a joint venture between Leonhard Kurz (Furth), a specialist in hot stamping technology, and Siemens (Munich).
