EnviroTech :: R&D BASF Ups Stake in Nanotech Start-Up5:28 AM MDT | August 7, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff BASF Venture Capital, a BASF subsidiary, says SDCmaterials (Tempe, AZ), a nanomaterials start-up in which it holds a stake, will build a small-scale nanomaterials production unit at BASF’s Schwarzheide, Germany facility. It will include pilot plants, laboratories, and offices, and is due to open September 2008. SDC will invest about €3 million ($41 million) in the project.
