BASF Opens New Research Laboratory in India, Launches Science Promotion Program

BASF has announced the inauguration of a new research laboratory at its Thane, India site and the foundation of a BASF Indo-German R&D Fund. The laboratory for organic compounds can work on a scale of 10 kg-100 kg, the company says. "Our research laboratory in Thane gives us local presence in India, which is a vibrant location for science," said Andreas Kreimeyer, research executive director at BASF during today's inauguration.
