Albemarle Builds R&D Facility in Korea

Albemarle says it has completed the research and development laboratory facilities and begun construction on the previously announced manufacturing facility at Yeosu, Korea. The completion of the Yeosu R&D lab facility enables the production of metallocene polyolefin (mPO) catalyst lab samples incorporating Albemarle’s ActivCat technology for qualification trials with local customers, the company says.
