Myriant Forms Bioplastic Partnership

Bioplastics firm DaniMer Scientific (Bainbridge, GA) has partnered with Myriant (Quincy, MA) to use biobased succinic acid in the production of polymers. The two firms have already demonstrated production of “numerous” materials containing biobased succinic acid at DaniMer’s Bainbridge product development center. DaniMer says it is constructing a large-scale production facility that will incorporate Myriant’s succinic acid into its production processes. Capacity terms were not disclosed.  ...
