EnviroTech :: Nanotech The U.K. Awards £480k to Cluster Beam Technology Collaborative Project2:03 PM MDT | June 27, 2012 | Sotirios Frantzanas The U.K.'s innovation agency, Technology Strategy Board, awarded £480,000 ($746,540) to a collaborative project of Teer Coatings (Droitwich, U.K.), Johnson Matthey (London), and the University of Birmingham. The project has been dubbed "SuperREACT", and its cost is estimated at about £1 million. "SuperREACT" is based on a patented idea from the University of Birmingham, which proposes a method that can increase the rate of cluster beam by 10 orders of magnitude.
