Senate Takes Up Nanotech R&D Bill

Senators John Kerry (D., MA) and Olympia Snowe (D., ME) have introduced legislation that would address concerns associated with the federal government’s National Nanotechnology Initiative, which critics say has done little to develop a plan for examining environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) issues associated with nanotechnology.
