EnviroTech :: Nanotech Dupont Touts Bio-based Polymers9:22 AM MDT | May 29, 2009 DuPont says it has fully commercialized several lines of its high-performance, renewably sourced engineering polymers, which include thermoplastic elastomers and resins, and long-chain nylons used in automotive and sporting goods applications. The polymers “are at least 20% renewably sourced and have equal or better performance than the entirely petrochemically based materials they replace so that customers do not have to choose between performance and environmental improvements,” says Marsha Craig, global business manager at DuPont Engineering...
