Verdezyne to supply biobased adipic acid for nylon-6,6 production

Verdezyne (Carlsbad, CA), a renewables start-up backed by BP and DSM, says it will supply biobased adipic acid to Universal Fiber Systems (Bristol, VA), a carpet and apparel yarns maker, for production of nylon-6,6.
