Rhodia, French Laboratory Evaluating Lithium Salt for Batteries

Rhodia says it diphenols business has partnered with the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) Laboratory of Innovation for New Energy Technologies and Nanomaterials (CEA-Liten; Chambéry, France) to develop solutions for lithium-ion (Li-ion) batteries. Rhodia Aroma Performance will contribute its expertise in lithium bis TriFluoromethaneSulfonyl)Imide (LiTFSI), a salt used in Li-ion battery electrolytes.
