Nexam, BASF establish partnership for cross-linkable nylon-6,6 compound commercialization

Nexam (Lund, Sweden) and BASF have developed a cross-linkable nylon-6,6 and agreed to initiate the commercialization phase for the compound, Nexam announced. Nexam has awarded BASF market exclusivity for approximately two years for the compound, which consists of nylon-6,6 and Nexam’s cross-linker. BASF says it is one of the market leaders in nylon-6,6 production. "The exclusivity is conditioned upon certain annual minimum purchases of Nexam’s crosslinker by BASF," the company says.
