Lenzing and NanoCarbons to partner in developing activated carbons

The Lenzing Group (Lenzing, Austria) has announced a partnership with nanotechnology R&D firm NanoCarbons (Fort Lauderdale, FL), aimed at developing and exploring the use of new activated carbons in electrode technology. The research will be based on a combination of Lenzing's Tencel fibers, and technology provided by NanoCarbons, at a specially constructed pilot facility.
