Lanxess Expands Menthol Capacity

Lanxess says it has started building work on a previously disclosed project to double the size of its menthol manufacturing facility at Krefeld-Uerdingen, Germany. The new capacity is designed to meet growing demand for the material on the world markets. Completion of the project is scheduled for the first half of 2012. Financial details and specific capacity figures were not disclosed.
