ADN is a critical intermediate used to manufacture nylon 6,6. The new technology—which includes a proprietary catalyst—is expected to boost product yields; reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions; enhance the stability of the ADN manufacturing process; and reduce capital intensity versus competing technologies, Invista says.
