Evonik and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China Codevelop First Chinese Airliner

Evonik says it has agreed to collaborate with the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (Comac) in the planning and designing of C919, the first Chinese medium-range aircraft. Evonik's contribution to the aircraft are customized lightweight-construction parts using a composite material based on polymethacrylimide (PMI), the company says.
