Typically, the use of Clarex enzymes, instead of the standard practise of preventing haze by using chemicals and refrigeration, saves about 8% of GHG emissions. Using enzymes also saves brewers money, the company says. Clearly better: DSM seeks to grow markets for Clarex in beer and beyond.
