Elevance and Genting Plantations ink biorefinery collaboration

Elevance Renewable Sciences (Woodbridge, IL) and Genting Plantations (Kuala Lumpur) today announced plans to build a 240,000-m.t./year biorefinery based on Elevance's metathesis technology at Lahad Datu, Malaysia. The two companies say the project will be sited in the Palm Oil Industrial Cluster. Financial terms were not disclosed.
