EnviroTech :: Innovation Eastman signs research pact with University of North Carolina9:05 AM MST | February 26, 2013 | Rebecca Coons Eastman Chemical says it has signed an agreement with University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill to conduct chemistry and materials science research. The agreement provides a minimum of $1.5 million over 6 years to support collaborations between Eastman scientists and UNC scientists, staff, and students. Faculty members from UNC's department of chemistry will periodically submit research proposals in response to Eastman-developed problem statements, called Requests for Proposals.
