EnviroTech :: Innovation Dow Kokam to Supply Hybrid Truck Batteries9:49 AM MST | March 8, 2011 | Vincent Valk Dow Kokam, a lithium-ion battery joint venture involving Dow Chemical, has signed an agreement to supply batteries for medium-duty hybrid and fully electric trucks. The agreements are with Motiv Power Systems (Motiv; Foster City, CA), an electric drive systems maker, and ZeroTruck (Los Angeles), a producer of electric trucks. ZeroTruck currently produces highway-ready electric trucks, while Motiv is using a grant from the California state government to build an electric passenger shuttle...
