DSM, Brazilian Biotech Firm Team Up In Floor Coatings

DSM says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Brazil-based biotech firm Empresa  Brasileira de Biotechnologia (Ebrabiotech) to launch castor-oil based ingredients for the concrete floor coatings market. The products will initially target the industrial concrete flooring market, with solutions for Aquaculture and Structural Steel Protection applications expected to be offered in the future.
