Cobalt Technologies Signs Engineering Agreement with Fluor for Biobutanol Plants

Cobalt Technologies (Mountain View, CA), a company which is commercializing biobutanol as a renewable chemical and fuel, has signed an agreement with Fluor Corporation under which Fluor will provide engineering consulting services using Cobalt's biobutanol production technology. Fluor will also offer its engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance services for Cobalt's demonstration and commercial-scale butanol plants.
