Clariant opens project house in Italy targeting applications in functional packaging

Clariant's (Muttenz, Switzerland) masterbatches business unit will open its first project house at Pogliano, Italy, to demonstrate masterbatches products and processes. The company will invest approximately €2 million ($2.7 million). The initiative was unveiled during the recent K show. The project house will include chemists and technicians as well as equipment, such as extrusion machinery and analytical equipment.
