Canadian, US firms establish JV to develop on-demand ammonia technology

Jourdan (Mississauga, ON), Autris (Los Angeles), and Process Research Ortech (PRO; Mississauga) have signed a term-sheet agreement covering the formation of a joint venture to investigate, develop, and commercialize a patentable technology for the production of on-demand ammonia for the fertilizer industry, the companies announced today. The technology, when and if developed, will form the property of the jv, the companies say. Jourdan, a phosphate exploration company, will, under the terms of the agreement, make an initial contribution of $1 million to develop...
