Avecia Wins Pharma Innovation Award for Expression Technology

Avecia Biologics (Tees Valley, U.K.) has won CPhI’s Innovation award for its pAVEway biopharma E.coli expression technology that can be used to manufacture biopharmaceuticals. CPhI, which established the award program to recognize the pharma industry’s advances in science and technology, presented this year’s awards at its pharmaceutical manufacturing expo, held last month in Milan (CW, Oct. 10/17, p. 34).
