Avecia Unveils Biologics Process

Avecia Biologics (Billingham, U.K.) says it has introduced a protein expression system for the manufacture of biopharmaceuticals. The system, dubbed Paveway, enables microbial production at a concentration of more than 10g/liter for a range of therapeutically useful proteins.
