Belgian researchers develop yeast strain to improve bioethanol production from waste streams

Researchers at Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB; Ghent, Belgium), in cooperation with Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Leuven, Belgium), have developed yeast strains that produce bioethanol from waste, VIB has announced.
