Waste-to-Fuel Industry Set to Create 6 Million Jobs in China

Technology for generating fuel from waste will create 6 million jobs and RMB 32 billion ($4.7 billion)/year in income for China in 2020, according to a report written jointly by Novozymes and McKinsey & Co.   The findings of the study by the two companies-a roadmap for the development of the market for cellulosic ethanol in China-are due to be presented tomorrow at the Boao Forum for Asia’s economic conference to be held at Dongyu Island, China.
