EnviroTech :: Environment Kodak Transfers Site Liability to Facilitate Sale1:18 PM MST | November 20, 2007 | Alex Scott Kodak says it has expedited the sale of a contaminated site that formerly produced imaging chemicals at Kirkby, U.K. by transferring environmental liability for the site to a third party, environmental services group WSP Environmental (WSPE; London). Kodak has agreed to sell the 500,000-sq-ft site to Acorn Developments (Kirkby), a subsidiary of used plant supplier International Process Plants and Equipment (Hamilton, NJ), and Kodak will pay WSPE to assume environmental liability for the site.
