Industry: House Farm Bill Would Make Key Changes to Pesticide Regulations

U.S. House Agriculture Committee has passed a version of the farm bill containing three provisions of particular importance to agricultural chemicals manufacturers, says CropLife America (Washington). The bill includes legislation clarifying that pesticides applied in accordance with the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act would not require National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permits.
