Health Canada: BPA in food packaging not linked to adverse health effects

Health Canada says its reassessment of bisphenol A (BPA) in food packaging indicates exposure levels are not high enough to cause concern about adverse health effects in adults or infants. The review also found that Canadians’ exposure to BPA from food packaging is lower than the estimates in the government’s 2008 review.
