European Commission and Cefic Strengthen Relations

European Commission vice president Antonio Tajani and Cefic president Georgio Squinzi jointly opened a four-day exhibition earlier this month within the commission’s headquarters in Brussels, to celebrate the role of chemistry in society. Tajani and Squinzi told CW at the opening that the exhibition is a symbol of cooperation between industry and the commission. It is the first time the commission has hosted such an event.
