Europe Adds Seven Substances to it Reach Candidate List

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) recently added seven substances to the Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals (Reach) program candidate list of substances of very high concern (SVHC). The new additions mean that 53 substances are now placed on the candidate list for additional assessment by the EU authorities.
