Environmental Group to Unveil ‘Plastics Scorecard’

Environmental group Clean Production Action (Medford, MA) says it will unveil a “plastics scorecard” on September 30 that evaluates plastics for their environmental and human health impacts throughout their lifecycle. The scorecard will help manufacturers, purchasers, and government agencies evaluate the impacts of various plastics—from feedstocks, to manufacture and use, and disposal—and aid the selection of better substitutes, the group says.
