EU Waits for U.S. to Come Forward on Climate Change Commitment

The European Union (EU) says it is waiting on developed countries, including the U.S., to signal their financial commitments toward a global climate treaty before it reveals its own financial strategy. The comments were made by José Manual Barroso, European commission president at EU leaders’ annual summit in Brussels on Friday.
