Dow Plugs into Concentrated Solar Power Sector

Dow Chemical says its Performance Fluids business has secured three major deals selling thousands of tonnes of its heat transfer fluid Dowtherm A for use in concentrated solar power (CSP) plants in Spain. Financial terms were not disclosed. Two CSP plants at Guadix, Spain will each use 2,000 m.t. of Dowtherm A, and a third plant at Cuidad Real, Spain will use 1,000 m.t. of the fluid.
