Chemicals Targeted by New EU Climate Change Proposals

The European Commission has announced a sweep of new proposals to reduce global warming gas (GWG) emissions across the European Union (EU), under which the heaviest polluters would bear the biggest financial responsibility. The proposals also include measures to promote the use of biofuels and mark a shift within the commission from talking tough on climate change to implementing firm policies for action.
