Canada Withdraws from Kyoto Climate Accord

Canada’s environment minister Peter Kent says the country is withdrawing from the Kyoto Protocol, the world’s only legally binding instrument for curbing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Kent says Canada is invoking its legal right to withdraw.
