EnviroTech :: Environment BASF Targets 35% Hike in Energy Efficiency by 20208:52 AM MST | February 24, 2012 | Alex Scott BASF has set a series of new environmental, health and safety goals for the group. One of its new goals is to increase energy efficiency - defined as the amount of products sold in relation to the primary energy demand - worldwide by 35% by 2020. This compares with a previous goal of 25%. BASF also plans to cut greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions/m.t. of final product by 40%, up from an earlier target of 25%.
