Appeals court rejects industry petition for rehearing in key GHG case

The US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia has rejected industry’s request for a full court rehearing of four landmark greenhouse gas (GHG) legal cases dealing with EPA’s authority to regulate GHG emissions using its existing Clean Air Act (CAA) authority. This means industry’s next step would have to be to seek review by the US Supreme Court.
