ACC Files Clean Air Act Petition in Effort to Stop GHG Rules

ACC has filed a petition with U.S. EPA seeking to spur the agency to re-evaluate its approach to prevention of significant deterioration (PSD) rules, a necessary component of the Clean Air Act used regulate sources of emissions such as greenhouse gases (GHGs). The petition argues that EPA's GHG regulation efforts amount to an "inappropriately expansive" application of PSD rules.
