Weekly Round-Up, April 16: TSCA Reform Rolls Out

The debate over reform of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) kicked into high gear this week, as U.S. legislators introduced slightly different bills reforming the act in the Senate and House. Not-shockingly, environmental groups are pushing for more proscriptive rules for chemicals, while industry is pushing for laxer rules. Both groups, however, expressed support for some kind of reform.
