Senate Climate Bill Expected Monday (Update)

Senators John Kerry (D., MA), Lindsey Graham (R., SC) and Joseph Lieberman (I., CT) are planning to introduce new climate legislation on Monday, reports say. The three have met with industry groups, including ACC, to discuss the proposal. The bill is rumored to contain a number of provisions designed to soften negative impacts for industry, including exempting industrial sources from greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions caps until 2016.
