Evonik Builds Network of Biogas Plants

Evonik says it is operating a biogas plant at Karstädt, Germany and that it has more biogas plants either under construction or at the planning phase. The company says it is expanding its biogas activities to offset its impact on global warming. Financial details were not disclosed.   Evonik is using a range of renewable raw materials as feedstock including organic waste, and manure.
