EnviroTech :: Climate Change EPA Finalizes GHG Reporting Rule for Oil and Gas10:07 AM MST | November 10, 2010 | Vincent Valk U.S. EPA has finalized a greenhouse gas(GHG) reporting rule for oil and gas production facilities. This includes processing, production, storage and distribution of oil, natural gas, and liquefied natural gas (LNG), both onshore and offshore. Other industrial segments, including chemicals, were already included in the rule. The oil and gas rules go into effect on January 1, 2011, and facilities must report emissions to EPA by March 31, 2012.
