EnviroTech :: Climate Change Dow and Gazprom to Work on GHG Reduction5:02 PM MDT | June 18, 2009 | Vincent Valk Dow Chemical and Gazprom Marketing and Trading, a Western European subsidiary of the Russian state energy monopoly, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the development and implementation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction projects, the companies say. Under the agreement, Gazprom Marketing and Trading will sell emissions offsets and help market Dow emission reduction technologies. The companies will work on projects that qualify for Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) or Joint Implementation (JI) status according to the United Nations...
