China Issues White Paper on Climate Change; Approves Emissions Trading Project

The Chinese government says it has issued a white paper yesterday, on its policies and actions to address climate change. The white paper, titled China's Policies and Actions for Addressing Climate Change, was released by the State Council, and according to it, addressing global climate change will be an important task in China’s economic and social development during its 12th Five-Year Plan, covering the period 2011-15.
