Cabot's GHG Emissions Decline With Output

Cabot Corporation's greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for 2008 totaled 4,440,000 m.t., an 11% decline from 2007, according to the company's most recent sustainability report. The decline matched the company's 12% decline in output. Cabot's Scope 1 emissions totaled 4,040,000 m.t., while Scope 2 emissions were 362,000 m.t., according to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP; London).
