Air Regulators Issue Global Warming Policy

The National Association of Clean Air Agencies (Nacaa; Washington), formerly Stappa/Alapco, issued a report on global warming policy last week, citing the recent United Nations International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report that found a “compelling case” to act now on curbing global warming. Nacaa, which represents state and local air regulators, says it supports the adoption of a mandatory, economy wide program, but “one that is flexible enough to allow for a portfolio of strategies to be adopted in addition to such a program.” Nacaa...
